Ahead of the 2023 general elections, Peter Obi, one of the presidential aspirants on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, has dumped the party.
This was disclosed in a resignation letter, addressed to the National Chairman of the party, and dated 24th May, 2022.
Obi however stated in the letter that his resignation took effect from the 20th of May, 2022.
