As part of the consultations ahead of the 2023 presidential elections, APC chieftain and one of the presidential aspirants, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has reportedly made it known that he had helped the political careers of some state governors, and so he needed support to achieve his goal.
Disclosing this at the palace of the Deji of Akure, on Friday where he reportedly paid a visit to the traditional rulers in the three senatorial districts of Ondo State, Tinubu stated, “I helped Mimiko get his mandate through court after two years that he was elected.”
He also noted, “I helped Fayemi get his mandate after three years. It took Aregbesola three years, 10 months, to get his mandate. We have helped many people like that.”
