Following preparations for the 2023 General Elections, Yahaya Bello, who had earlier made his ambition of running for the seat of the President known has promised not to disappoint Nigerians asking him to run for the Presidency in 2023.
According to reports, the Kogi State Governor disclosed this on Friday, while featuring on Channels Television’s ‘Politics Today’ programme.
According to him, “Nigerians, the youth and women, including very objective elites, are asking me to run for President in 2023. I believe it is high time that we looked into capacity, who can do the job, who is going to unify this country.”
Bello added that, “I think they are seeing something in me that they are asking me to come and unite and fix this country.My answer will be in the affirmative a few times from now.”
This is coming few days after reports that, a bridge which was just constructed in Okene area of Kogi State by his administration, collapsed after a week of commissioning.
