We’re looking for short fiction stories! Believe you can write a winning and compelling story in 1,300 words or less? Enter the 1st Jangolova’s Short Story Competition for your chance to win N5,000 in cash, get published in Writer’s Book Column, and an opportunity to be a contributor.
First Place Winner will receive:
N5,000 in cash
Their short story title published in jangolova’s Book column and an opportunity to be a contributor.
Second Place Winner will receive:
N3,000 in cash
Their short story title published in jangolova’s Book column and an opportunity to be a contributor.
Third Place Winner will receive:
N1,000 in cash
Their short story title published in jangolova’s Book column and an opportunity to be a contributor.
How to Enter
All entries must be submitted on the above form (NO FEE REQUIRED)
All entries must be in English. Only original works that have not been published (at the time of submission) in print, digital or online. Self-published work in blogs, on social media, etc. will NOT BE considered. Jangolova retains one-time nonexclusive publication rights to the winning entries to be published in our publication.
BE SURE OF YOUR WORD COUNT! Entries exceeding the word limits will be disqualified. Type the exact word count (counting every single word, except the title and contact information). For more information contact us via our contact page or any of our social media.
